I am ready to take on a very specific challenge and I can’t wait… I think. With this being January 1st and all, it’s appropriate to stop and reflect on the last year. I’ve had an intense 12 months, and I would never have predicted the way my year unfolded in so many different directions. With each new opportunity I took on, other areas of my life were shaken up. I wish I had captured my story more clearly – more distinctly, and I don’t intend to make that mistake again in 2018.
So here’s the plan…
365 days means 365 opportunities to share. REINVIGORATE is my chosen word for 2018, and it’s in that headspace that I will begin the journey of capturing my story this year. I don’t know how I’m going to commit to sharing each day. I’m nervous. It seems daunting and heavy, but I want to take this on to walk the talk. I speak to educators all the time about the importance of “telling your story,” and I know I can do a better job of doing it myself.
Each time I publish a post, I will close my eyes and see a drop of water trickle into an educator’s bucket. As her bucket fills and spills over the top, all the goodness that filled the bucket will rain onto the students she teaches. #TrickleChallenge
